I love my job! Orthodontic treatment grants the opportunity to make people feel better about themselves through the simple process of straightening their teeth. Patients of all ages have a unique set of personality traits as well as treatment conditions that make every day different than the last. I love the challenges that each day brings. The newfound confidence and self-esteem in my patients when they get a beautiful smile is unforgettable.

My undergraduate studies were concentrated in Biomechanical Engineering at Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri, but I always knew I wanted to make a direct and positive difference in people's lives. I attended the University of Connecticut where I earned my Doctor of Dental Medicine degree and continued on to the State University of New York at Buffalo where I received my Master of Science degree in Orthodontics. My education gave me the knowledge and training needed to provide my patients with the best care possible.

I am a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, American Dental Association, Northeast Society of Orthodontists and the prestigious Seattle Study Club where I regularly attend meetings and seminars to learn about the newest advancements in my field. Continuing education is a very important part of keeping my practice up-to-date with current technology. I also serve on the Maine Cleft Lip and Palate Team at the Maine Medical Center.

I grew up on a cattle farm in the Catskill Mountains and have lived in Kennebunkport since 2001 with my wife, Christina, and our two children, Lucas and Penelope. I love renovating and landscaping, and it seems I always have a project going on with my father and brother. I am an avid lover of the outdoors, and I love relaxing outside with my wife and children.
